- Bundle umu-launcher 1.4.4. It downloads the Steam Linux Runtime from the versioned image folder instead of latest-public-beta, whose stale CDN checksums made every fresh runtime install fail with "Digest mismatched", and it restores umu-shim even when a runtime update fails. - Keep umu-launcher up to date on Linux: check the official GitHub release once a day, verify the zipapp against the release sha256 digest, install it under userData/umu and fall back to the bundled copy otherwise. - Follow umu-run output while preparing prefixes and launching games so the launcher window shows runtime download/extract progress, stays open while it runs, and reports the umu failure instead of silently closing. |
